Santo Stefano and Valdobbiadene
The story of joy the maze of the “Altoveneto”.

Santo Stefano is a small village part of the municipality of Valdobbiadene in the province of Treviso, Northeast Veneto.

Its 500 inhabitants are almost all directly involved in bringing to life and expanding a real “widespread Cantina”, consisting of many small, family-run wineries scattered through the floating vineyards that draw, between the mountains and the hills, a landscape of rare beauty and sweetness.

Santo Stefano is the heart of the Prosecco brand for its unique climate and soil composition, of glacial origin, rich and harmonious. It is located in the center of an area that includes within the distance of a few kilometers: Venice, Treviso, Maser with the Palladian villa, Possagno (birthplace of Canova), the royal Asolo that Robert Browning described as “sparkling”, Cortina d’Ampezzo and the noble Feltre, the door to the Dolomites.
