You're looking at
Monte Cesèn
It is the mountain that protects Valdobbiadene with its vertical posture from the cold winter days and shelters it during the long, sunburnt summer weeks. It is a maternal mountain that borders the province of Treviso with the Dolomite world of Belluno.
Its summit measures 1,565 meters above sea level. In summer, the extensive alpine pastures are home to numerous herds that animate the mountain meadows and the malghe, alpine stables where the slow pace of mountaineering and cheese-making runs. A vast network of trails branches off from Pianezze, which can be reached by car from the center of Valdobbiadene, connecting with the Belluno valleys along with panoramas and horizons of intense beauty, easy to enjoy and well suited for everyone. The malghe provide excellent products and friendly hospitality in the summer.
