Val Molèra

Small valley incision of historical importance for its rural economy. Conglomerate millstones and sandstone were extracted from the quarries crossing its slopes, with which houses, stables, and cottages were built in Santo Stefano.
The circular imprints of the mined millstones are still clearly visible on the orographic right of the valley.
At the bottom of the valley, as in the whole crown of hills surrounding Santo Stefano, a small stream flows through the valley, gently and steadily quenching the thirst of the vines and the land.
